Please pray for Stephen and his family as they minister to the people in
the mountains of Mexico and make a donation
to help them in their missionary efforts.
Meet Stephen, Adriana & Little Stephen Muscarella
In 1994, Stephen Muscarella moved to the state of Puebla to plant churches
in the mountains. When he moved to Pachuca in 2001, he had left behind 5
churches and several preaching points were opened up.
Their work at present is in Pachuca, which is the capital city in the state
of Hidalgo. The city is growing more and more every day, but a conservative
population estimate is 500,000. (Click

The focus of the missionaries is church planting in the villages and rural
areas. Discipleship and evangelism play an important role in leaving behind
a healthy church. Stephen says, "We have always worked in apostolic
church planting teams. This serves a dual purpose: the team dynamic helps
to lighten our load, and at the same time new leaders are raised up among
the local brethren." The Muscarellas are presently involved in
church plants in the county of Mineral del Chico, and the town of San Agustin
Tlaxiaca. "Our vision is to disciple leaders, and leave behind
indigenous churches, which are self supporting, self propagating, and self
governing. We also partner with a church in the city of Pachuca which serves
as a "mother church" thus giving covering to the village works,"
says Muscarella.
